On the KBS 2TV show ‘The Boss‘s Ears Are Donkey Ears’ (abbreviated as ‘Sadanggui’) that will air on the 10th, announcer boss Uhm Ji-in will appear and Jeon Hyun-moo will show off his announcer background.

According to the production team, when a scene where rookie announcer Hong Joo-yeon recites an anchor comment comes up, Uhm Ji-in asks a riddle, “Please take a look at the content”. Everyone tilts their heads, saying “I don’t know”, but Jeon Hyun-moo immediately understands and surprises everyone by saying, “You were talking about long vowels, right?”.

Along with this, Jeon Hyun-moo clearly distinguishes between long and short sounds by saying, “For the first time, a 5th place team has advanced to the wildcard playoffs,” in the comment, “Not only the number 5, but also the long consonants,” and even gives an impromptu pronunciation demonstration, showing off his extraordinary force as a former announcer. Um Ji-in, who was watching, clapped and praised him, saying, “As expected from our senior.” Jeon Hyun-moo shrugged his shoulders in triumph, saying, “I’m proud to be from KBS.”

Jeon Hyun-moo then mentioned that news viewers are stricter than other programs. Jeon Hyun-moo started by saying, “News viewers are the most conservative,” and then said, “An announcer can’t just cut their own hair if they want to,” and said that news announcers are held to even stricter standards, from their hairstyles to their outfits.
