On the 8th, Baek Jong-won posted a video titled ‘Ji-sun, who made me kick the blanket, come here!’ on his YouTube channel. The video shows Baek Jong-won meeting with Chef Jung Ji-sun, a contestant on ‘Black and White Chef’, and cooking and talking together.

On that day, Baek Jong-won introduced Chef Jung Ji-sun and said, “This guy made a really embarrassing and weird ‘meme’ on ‘Black and White Chef’. Other people like it, and even my daughters like it, but I find it embarrassing. I thought I‘d be really cool like the character Zorro, but I wasn’t. He said, “I invited Chef Ji-seon Jeong, who created the meme.”

Chef Ji-seon Jeong smiled shyly and confessed, “I didn‘t think it would become such an issue either.” He won the 1-on-1 competition of “Black and White Chef” by defeating the goddess of Chinese cuisine with a dish called “ba-sseu” using shiitake mushrooms.

He said, ”I think food exchange is the healthiest thing. “How great it would be if we could introduce Japan and China, which are nearby, and feel close to them,” he said, raising his voice.

He added, “People didn’t know about bath, but how great it would be if a chef who makes Chinese food appeared through ‘Black and White Chef’ and bath, one of the Chinese dishes, became known to the world. I didn’t say, ‘Batsu was created in Korea.’”
