Baek Jong-won of tvN‘s Extreme Mobile Cooking Team ‘Backpacker 2’ returns as a business genius.

The 24th episode of ’Backpacker 2‘, which will air on the 10th, will depict the last story of Baek Jong-won, Lee Soo-geun, Heo Kyung-hwan, Ahn Bo-hyun, and Go Kyung-pyo visiting Youth Table, a restaurant for hungry youths, to deliver 3,000 won of happiness.

According to the production team, the last destination of the team that gathered in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul from dawn is Youth Table. It is a cost-effective restaurant where youths can eat cheap but hearty home-cooked meals with 3,000 won kimchi stew, and it is also a place that delivers 3,000 won of happiness to hungry youths in this era of high prices. After discovering the identity of the business trip destination hidden in an alleyway of a university, the delegation is unable to hide their bewilderment, saying, “It’s a real restaurant, right?” and Baek Jong-won is once again surprised to learn that the restaurant sells 3,000 won kimchi stew.

Father Lee Moon-soo, who has been running a restaurant for hungry youth for a whopping 8 years, reveals the story of how he opened a restaurant after seeing the sad news that a young man died of starvation in a goshiwon, and requests, “I regret not being able to offer a more diverse menu because I only served one type of food. I would like you to create a unique menu for the youth using kimchi, the main ingredient in kimchi stew.” Following this request, the delegation plans to throw their hat into the ring for the first ‘Backpacker’ business for 100 lunch customers who visit the restaurant.

The group vows to make the customers think, “It‘s only 3,000 won, but I have to make them think they spent 300,000 won,” but they are speechless at the smallest kitchen in the history of “Backpacker.” Baek Jong-won’s new menu item in a restaurant that serves only kimchi stew is kimchi dumpling hotpot with lots of toppings. To make 400 dumplings, the group presents a kimchi slap show and a taekwondo-like bibim show, making everyone laugh. Baek Jong-won especially focuses on the story of how he made dumplings himself and ran a dumpling restaurant during the IMF crisis, along with the special kimchi dumpling recipe.

Go Kyung-pyo then adds to the laughter by saying, “I’m Hong Seo-beom?” and cleverly describing him as a general artist. Along with the members‘ unexpected self-introductions, Heo Kyung-hwan and Lee Soo-geun refer to themselves as “chicken vendors” and “proxy drivers,” filling the set with laughter.
