Chae Won-bin‘s ‘passion’ worked.
She made a strong impression by appearing as Han Suk-kyu’s daughter in the MBC drama ‘This Intimate Traitor’, which became famous for its ‘breathtaking father-daughter psychological warfare’.
With the bold charm of a newcomer, she is raising the tension of the drama by standing up to Han Suk-kyu.
Thanks to this, Chae Won-bin has succeeded in making her name known and is on a roll, having decided on her next project early on.
Chae Won-bin has once again been cast as the lead in the new KBS 2TV drama ‘Miss Granny’, scheduled to air in December.
‘Suspicious Girl’ is a remake of the 2014 film of the same name starring Shim Eun-kyung and Na Moon-hee. It tells the story of Oh Mal-soon, a foul-mouthed 70-year-old grandmother who suddenly turns into a 20-year-old Oh Du-ri.
In the drama, Chae Won-bin plays Choi Ha-na, the granddaughter of Kim Hae-sook, who plays Oh Mal-soon.
Choi Ha-na, a model student who always ranked first in her school, is a bold character who gives up the college entrance exam to become a trainee at an entertainment agency to pursue her true dream of becoming a singer.
She will show a different side of herself through the ‘Tiki-taka’ exchange with grandmother Kim Hae-sook.
Currently, she gave off a chilling feeling with her cold expression and low-pitched voice in ‘Such an Intimate Traitor’, and expectations are high for her acting transformation that she will present in this comedy drama.
The production team said, “Depending on what kind of ‘clothes’ (character) she wears, she shows a new side of herself.” “Unlike other actors her age, she is excellent at expressing emotions and has the ability to capture characters with animalistic senses. We can look forward to the new side she will show this time.”
