Don‘t be weak, since you have one more person on Mom’s side.” Despite this, Geum-hee misunderstood that Yeong-bok came to see her because of the agreement and poured out harsh words, and Yeong-bok tried to convey his true feelings, saying, “I hope it hurts a little less”.

But Yeong-bok suddenly felt a stomachache and collapsed. Only then did Geum-hee find out that she was pregnant, and her cool-headed heart disappeared without a moment‘s hesitation, snatching the wheelchair of the ‘nylon patient’ and carrying Yeong-bok. Meanwhile, there was progress in Do-hyun’s “search for his biological mother.” Chief Seo (Seo Hyun-chul) found a connection between the two cases of missing infants and illegal overseas adoptions that occurred 30 years ago. He found it suspicious that 11 of the children who had been adopted overseas from the Yeongeup orphanage were not children who had been admitted to the orphanage, and that there was a price written on the adoption application. Furthermore, at a time when it was uncommon to go to the hospital to give birth, the children had one thing in common: the same midwife delivered them.

Do-hyun, who went to see the midwife, obtained a clue that “Ok-yeop’s mother helped as a midwife at the time, and she opened a store in town.” In addition, after looking into the family register, he found out that Ok-yeop, who had already died 30 years ago, was the son of Jo Soon-ae (Woo Hyun-joo), the owner of the video store. Do-hyun questioned Sun-ae‘s statement that “I didn’t have money to go to the hospital, so my child Ok-yeop died of a fever, and I went to pick him up in vain.” This was because Sun-ae started various businesses two years after the child died due to the poor environment.

Sun-ae gave Do-hyun medicine and locked him in the basement, as he was squeezing her. In addition, she revealed that the kidnapping crime was a result of her twisted belief, saying, “They were all poor children who couldn‘t go to the hospital even though they were sick like Ok-yeop. I think I saved them.” At that moment, Jeong-sook, who found out from Super (Park Ok-chul) that Sun-ae was “Ok-yeop’s mother,” knocked on the door of the video store, and Sun-ae dropped a lantern as she was leaving in a hurry, causing the basement to be engulfed in flames in an instant. Every night, the nightmare of the baby in the fire that tormented Do-hyeon was overtaken by Jung-sook, who appeared as a savior in front of him as he was losing consciousness. At the same time, the ‘Sisters’ caught Soon-ae, who was trying to escape. In this way, the culprit of the unsolved case was arrested after 30 years.

However, Do-hyeon was not a child kidnapped by Soon-ae. Do-hyeon did not have the small cross tattoo that Soon-ae had tattooed on her forehead every time she sent her child away. However, on the day that Geum-hee held a party at her house to celebrate Won-bong‘s discharge from the hospital, Jung-sook was shocked when she found a baby’s clothing while searching in the storage. It had the same initials embroidered on it as the one Do-hyeon was wearing when he was adopted.
