The popular drama ‘I‘m Sorry, I Love You’, which even left the famous line, “Do you want to eat or live with me,” is back after 20 years.

According to Wave on the 11th, the 2004 drama ‘I’m Sorry, I Love You’ starring So Ji-sub and Im Soo-jung will be showing the director‘s cut version at 6 CGV theaters nationwide on the 16th.

‘I’m Sorry, I Love You’ tells the story of Moo-hyeok (So Ji-sub), an adopted child who was abandoned by his parents and raised in Australia, who comes to Korea after being given a terminal diagnosis and falls in love with Eun-chae (Im Soo-jung).

At the time, the fashion that Im Soo-jung wore in the drama, such as the knitwear and ugg boots, was hugely popular with female fans in their 20s and 30s, and the line that So Ji-sub said to Im Soo-jung, “Do you want to eat or live with me”, has been talked about for over 20 years, even giving rise to the term ‘Misa addict’.

The director‘s cut being released this time shortened the total 16 episodes of the drama into 6 and edited into an OTT (online video service) version. The main staff, including Director Lee Hyung-min, who was in charge of directing at the time, participated in the editing.

This screen screening will only be held on the 16th and will be available on Wave starting on the 22nd
