‘Marry YOU’ is starring a full lineup of ‘scene stealers’, from actors Woo Hyun to Kim Mi Ryeo.

The new Channel A weekend drama ‘Marry YOU’, which will premiere on the 16th, is a comedic family drama about couples matching on the brink of marriage and non-marriage, about civil servant ‘Jung Ha Na’ (Jo Soo Min), who struggles to get island bachelor ‘Bong Cheol Hee’ (Lee Yi Kyung) to marry off in order to escape the marriage fraud team.

The drama stars Lee Yi Kyung, Jo Soo Min, and actors who have shown strong acting so far, including Goo Jun Hoe as Choi Ki Joon, and Ji Yi Soo as Oh In Ah. Here, Woo Hyun, Kim Kang-hyun, Kim Mi-ryeo, Son So-mang, Song Yi-dam, Jeon Seo-jin, Seo Woo-jin, and A Tae-rin, along with other unique actors, will add their strength and create synergy.

First, Woo Hyun plays the role of Im Gu-sik, the mayor of Injeong City Hall, where Jo Soo-min and Goo Jun-hoe work. Contrary to his name, he is reluctant to fall behind trends and was inspired by his rival mayor‘s SNS to create a new team, the ‘Marriage Fraud Promotion Team’.

Kim Kang-hyun, Kim Mi-ryeo, Song Yi-dam, and Jeon Seo-jin will be joining the Marriage Fraud Promotion Team. Kim Kang-hyun plays the perennial chief Yang Seung-goo, who lives by the motto “Latte, that’s what it is”, while Kim Kang-hyun plays the cheerful 7th-grade civil servant Lee Ji-kyung, emitting a strong presence. Also, Song Yi-dam plays the salty 9th grade civil servant Han Bin, and Jeon Seo-jin plays the college intern Na Ji-won whose goal is to get a job, creating polar opposite chemistry.

In addition, Son So-mang plays Moon Young-eun, a single woman who runs an izakaya. Son So-mang, who appears as Jo Soo-min‘s best friend, is expected to complete the Moon Young-eun character even more charming with her acting.

Ahn Tae-rin and Seo Woo-jin play the essential supporting characters of ‘Marry YOU’, Lee Yi-kyung’s twin nephews Bong Ba-da and Bong San-yi. The overwhelming loveliness of Ahn Tae-rin and Seo Woo-jin is also a point that has viewers‘ expectations focused on, to the point that Lee Yi-kyung proudly said, “My twin nieces Bada and San-yi are the kick of our drama.”

The combination of seasoned actors and fresh-faced actors is raising expectations for ‘Marry YOU’. The production team said, “The many actors who worked together on this project made the story more delicate and solid with their solid acting. In addition, more diverse actors will join every week to fill out the story. Please look forward to their acting synergy that will perfectly blend in with the main actors such as Lee Yi-kyung and Jo Soo-min.”

Meanwhile, Channel A’s new weekend drama ‘Marry YOU’ will premiere on Saturday the 16th at 7:50 PM.
