The clues he got from the nuns at the church were that the woman who had left the baby at the time was wearing a wooden rosary ring on her hand, had a ticket to Geum-je, and spoke in the local dialect. 30 years ago, a series of babies disappeared during the chaos caused by the arson, but Do-hyun was not the child kidnapped by Jo Soon-ae (Woo Hyun-joo), the owner of a video store who was revealed to be the culprit in the last episode.
In fact, there was no connection or room for suspicion between Do-hyun and Geum-hee. Geum-hee doesn’t speak in a dialect, and she wasn‘t a Geumjeong person. She became a Geumjeong person after marrying her husband Won-bong. Furthermore, when she first met Won-bong on a blind date, she firmly told him, “I want to live as a new woman. That’s why I won‘t have children.” This makes Geum-hee, who doesn’t have children, question why she and Do-hyun have the same maternity jacket with the initials ‘K.BH’, and whether there was a reason why she didn‘t want to have children.
