Choo Young-woo transforms into two men with one face.
The new JTBC weekend drama ‘Madame Ok‘s Tale’ (written by Park Ji-sook, directed by Jin Hyeok), which will be aired for the first time on the 30th, tells the story of two completely different men with one face, Cheon Seung-hwi (played by Choo Young-woo) and Sung Yoon-gyeom (played by Choo Young-woo).
‘Madame Ok’s Tale’ is a work that depicts the fierce survival fraud drama between Ok Tae-young (played by Lim Ji-yeon), a foreigner whose name, identity, and husband were all fake, and Cheon Seung-hwi (played by Choo Young-woo), an entertainer who risked his life to protect her.
According to the production team, Cheon Seung-hwi, an electrician who has captivated the nation, is famous for his outstanding acting and dancing skills, as well as his handsome looks that cannot be hidden even by a mask. With his extraordinary artistry that instantly draws in the audience, his performances are truly heavenly popular.
As much as he puts on a stage that excites countless people, Cheon Seung-hwi’s skills offstage are noticeable. Even in the photo, his graceful dancing lines clearly reveal the natural talent of a talented artist, drawing attention.
Among them, a man named Seong Yoon-gyeom (played by Chu Young-woo) with an appearance that is exactly like his but a completely opposite personality also piques curiosity. Seong Yoon-gyeom is the eldest son of a prestigious county magistrate, and with his outstanding martial arts skills and deep knowledge, he is considered the best groom-to-be by the young ladies of the neighborhood. Unlike Cheon Seung-hwi, his solemn gaze exudes deep charisma and a heaviness that does not easily reveal his true feelings.
As curiosity grows about what kind of fateful story will unfold for Cheon Seung-hwi and Sung Yoon-gyeom, two men with one face, expectations are high for Choo Young-woo‘s performance in playing the role.
Director Jin Hyeok praised him, saying, “Despite the difficult role of having to play two roles, the character making was excellent. I hope ’The Tale of Lady Ok‘ becomes a work that further imprints the name of actor Choo Young-woo.”
’The Tale of Lady Ok‘ will be aired for the first time at 10:30 p.m. on the 30th.
