tvN‘s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Love on a Single-Log Bridge’ (directed by Park Joon-hwa, written by Im Ye-jin) is a romance about Seok Ji-won and Yoon Ji-won, who were born on the same day and with the same name in the families of enemies. It is a war-like romance between sworn enemies who reunite after a painful separation in the summer of their eighteenth year, 18 years later. Joo Ji-hoon plays the role of Seok Ji-won, the chairman of Dokmok High School and Yoon Ji-won’s one and only enemy, while Jung Yu-mi plays the role of Yoon Ji-won, a PE teacher at Dokmok High School who reunites with her enemy Seok Ji-won after 18 years.

On the 11th, the production team released a trailer for Episode 1, which announces the start of a three-generation bad relationship between Seok Ji-won (played by Joo Ji-hoon) and Yoon Ji-won (played by Jung Yu-mi) after their reunion at Dokmok High School and the declaration of war between them.

The released video begins with the generations-long bad relationship between Seok Ji-won and Yoon Ji-won. The two of them constantly bicker, bumping shoulders and kicking each other in the schoolyard, saying things like “I just hate you” and “We fought really badly”, vividly showing their three-generation bad relationship as families. Without saying who will go first, they call each other “deadly punks” and make everyone laugh.


Meanwhile, Seok Ji-won‘s father Seok Kyung-tae (played by Lee Byung-joon) says, “I’m going to kick out that teacher and my granddaughter. Just like we were kicked out in the past,” and he burns with revenge against Yoon Jae-ho (played by Kim Kap-soo), raising curiosity about what happened between the two families. Then, an incident occurs that turns Seok Ji-won‘s attitude, which he had been responding to by calling him childish, 180 degrees. He hears that Yoon Ji-won doesn’t remember him. Seok Ji-won, who is shocked, throws a powerful punch, saying, “The chairman of Dokmok High School. I‘ll do it. Revenge.”

Yoon Ji-won also threw a powerful punch. Yoon Ji-won tells her grandfather Yoon Jae-ho, “I’ve decided. I will not resign,” he declares war. This raises anticipation for the reunion of the two who will rekindle their three-generation ill-fated relationship. At the end of the video, Yoon Ji-won is shown reaching out to Seok Ji-won, who greets her by saying, “Nice to meet you. Teacher Yoon Ji-won,” raising attention as to whether the two who met for revenge still have feelings from the past.
