The new Channel A weekend drama ‘Check In Hanyang’ (written by Park Hyun-jin/directed by Myung Hyun-woo/joint production and investment by PONY CANYON), which will air on Saturday, December 21 at 7:50 PM, is a turbulent growth romance historical drama that tells the story of Joseon‘s largest inn ‘Yongcheonru’, which has the arrogant motto, ‘The customer is king’, and the young Joseon lads who join the place as educational servants. It is gathering attention with its unique background of a ‘Joseon Dynasty hotel’, and the casting of popular young actors such as Bae In-hyuk, Kim Ji-eun, Jung Gun-joo, and Park Jae-chan.

In the midst of this, ‘Check In Hanyang’ revealed the script reading site announcing the drama’s launch on November 12. On this day, writer Park Hyun-jin, director Myung Hyun-woo, and the production team, as well as main actors Bae In-hyuk, Kim Ji-eun, Jung Gun-joo, Park Jae-chan, Kim Min-jung, Kim Eui-sung, Yoon Je-moon, Han Jae-seok, Kim Yoon-bae, Kim Young-joon, Choi Min-cheol, Jung Eun-pyo, and Jeon Hye-yeon were in attendance and worked together for the first time.

Bae In-hyuk, who plays Prince Muyeong-gun Lee Eun, who enters Yongcheonru under the name Lee Eun-ho while hiding his identity, perfectly melted into the role, going back and forth between the charisma of a member of the highest power in the country and the inexperience of a social freshman experiencing life outside the palace for the first time. Everyone was amazed by Bae In-hyeok‘s acting skills, which rhythmically adjusted the genre variations such as romance, comedy, and politics according to the flow of the play.

Kim Ji-eun took on the role of Hong Deok-soo, who lives as a woman disguised as a man for some reason, and brought liveliness to the play with her bright and confident energy. Kim Ji-eun, who has been active in various genres such as ‘Black Sun’, ‘Thousand Won Lawyer’, and ‘Mom’s Friend‘s Son’, left a deep impression with her stable acting in ‘Check In Hanyang’, her first historical drama since her debut. She also gave off a different charm than before, foreshadowing the birth of a new life character.



Jung Gun-joo, who plays Cheon Jun-hwa, who will create a love triangle with Hong Deok-soo with a different charm from Lee Eun, is ready to capture the hearts of women by delicately portraying a playful yet affectionate personality. Among them, Kim Min-jung, who makes a special appearance, plays the role of Daegakju Seol Mae-hwa, the general manager of Yongcheonru, and draws attention with her strong presence, while Kim Eui-sung, who plays Cheon Bang-ju, the real owner of Yongcheonru and a man who desires higher power, creates tension with his irreplaceable charisma. Yoon Je-moon, who plays Oh Yeong-rak, the Minister of War, and Han Jae-seok, who plays King Lee Hyeon-wi, enrich the play by portraying the political battle that will take on one axis of the drama’s story in a weighty way.

In addition, Kim Yoon-bae (as Bang Sa-seon), Kim Young-joon (as Yoo Soo-in), Choi Min-cheol (as Jo Seung-ryang), Jeong Eun-pyo (as Jang Sook-soo), and Jeon Hye-yeon (as Ji Yeon-hee) join the Yongcheonru family, and Kim Young-sun (as Jwa-pan-daek), Im So-yoon (as Gu-sil), and Bae Jae-won (as Beom-ho) join the cast as the main characters‘ supporting characters, showing off their delightful chemistry.
