Lee Jong-won has emerged as the ‘Next-generation rom-com king’.

He is currently garnering attention for his detailed portrayal of characters‘ psychology in the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Drunken Romance’.

In the drama, he plays the role of brewmaster Yoon Min-joo. He continuously pushes away Yong-joo (Kim Se-jeong), who crosses the line without hesitation, while also showing off his affectionate charm by taking meticulous care of her.

Knowing that Yong-joo suffers from the heat and hunger while working in the hop field, he prepares for her what she needs and even ties her hair himself, properly winning over her heart.

He also charmingly portrays the character of Yoon Min-joo, who is infinitely kind and upright, despite her defensive attitude due to her inner wounds, drawing the viewers’ empathy.

He is starting to break down the barriers he has towards those around him little by little, and attention is focused on what changes he will show in the future when he meets the hiring manager.
