‘Blood Game’ is back with more addictive gameplay than seasons 1 and 2.

On the afternoon of the 12th, a preview and production presentation for Wave Original‘s ‘Blood Game Season 3’ (hereafter referred to as ‘Blood Game 3’) was held at the Dolby Atmos theater on the 5th floor of Megabox Seongsu in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. Jang Dong-min, Kim Kyung-ran, Lim Hyun-seo, Seo Chul-goo, MJ Kim, Yu-ri-sa, Joo Eon-gyu, Chungju Man, Crocodile, Choi Hye-sun, Heo Sung-beom, Kim Min-ah, and PD Hyun Jung-wan and PD Jeon Chae-young attended the production presentation that day.

On that day, PD Hyun Jung-wan first explained the characteristics of season 3, saying, “This season, those who have excelled in previous survival shows have gathered together to see who the real strongest is, we prepared it with the feeling of a survival all-star game.”

Jang Dong-min continued, “When I was a studio MC in Season 1, I was so upset that I said, ’I have to leave.‘ Just kidding. There are so many strong characters. ’Blood Game‘ has many characters that become stronger and smarter as the seasons go on. I was offered a role in Season 2, but I declined. They strongly offered me a role in Season 3. I was scared to that extent, but I thought I should give it a try, so I decided to take on the challenge.”



PD Hyun Jung-wan said, “I had a lot of concerns while preparing for Season 3. Seasons 1 and 2 were so different that they had different names, so I thought about what our own originality would be in Season 3. I thought that I had to find a suitable location in Korea to do this. If you look at the content that follows, you’ll see why it had to be done in Korea. There was a cast member who really wanted to try out the ‘Blood Game’ series. To be honest, the environment is harsh, and it‘s an extreme environment for physical strength and brain. I tried to make use of those aspects,” he said, explaining the differences from seasons 1 and 2.

Jang Dong-min said about the reason he decided to take on the challenge of ‘Blood Game 3’, “I had a lot of worries. I thought that I had to do well to make a profit. But the production team and PD Hyun Jung-wan said that the per-episode appearance fee was 200 million won,” and joked, “What I had to worry about the most was that everyone around me told me not to go. It was the same when I first appeared on ‘Genius’. They said that my true nature would be revealed and I would be embarrassed. At that time, I thought, ‘Why me?’, so I decided to appear. This time, I thought, ‘I’m old and can‘t do it anymore.’. I was also afraid, but I thought, ‘Then I’ll show you,’, and I decided to take on the challenge.”

He added, “The difficulty of survival has been upgraded a lot compared to before. That‘s why it was hard, but it was just as fun,” she added, drawing attention.

Kim Kyung-ran said about the reason for appearing on ‘Blood Game 3’, “When I did ‘The Genius’, the starting point of survival, the mindset of the viewers back then and now is very different. Although I did have the title of runner-up, I really suffered a lot. I worried a lot when I went to the finals, and I worried a lot about this offer too. The reason I decided to go is because while watching ‘Blood Game’ 1 and 2, I thought it was cool that survival could be like a movie. I wondered what I would be like if I were in that space once. I promised myself I would never do it again, but before I knew it, I was there.”



Seo Chul-gu, who appeared in season 3 following season 2, said, “Starting with season 2, I liked figuring out what the production team was thinking. I think I figured it out a little bit as I entered season 3. The production team put in so many devices that there were so many unpredictable things that I wondered if this was really true. That’s why I thought, ‘Blood Game.’”

Yuri also said, “When we filmed ‘Blood Game 2,’ I felt it was really hard. I told people around me for six months that it was really hard. But season 3 was even harder. There’s a scene in the teaser where I’m crying, but I’ve never cried much in my life. But if I shed tears, that means I’ve said it all.



Jang Dong-min said about his rival Hong Jin-ho, his most feared opponent, ”The point is that he knows my personality, and I also know Hong Jin-ho’s personality well, so that part was scary. It was really hard.“ He said, ”I‘m stronger in every way, so in fact, I killed (Hong Jin-ho) for not coming here today. He said, “It killed the spirit.”

Meanwhile, ‘Blood Game 3’ is a survival intelligence survival program where survival legends and rookies compete to protect or steal something.

Jang Dong-min, Hong Jin-ho, Kim Kyung-ran, Lim Hyeon-seo, Seo Chul-gu, MJ Kim, Yu-ri-sa, Joo Eon-gyu, and unpredictable rookies Pani Bottle, Chungju Man, Crocodile, Choi Hye-sun, Heo Sung-beom, Kim Min-ah, Lee Ji-na, Kim Young-kwang, Si-yoon, and Steve Ye will all appear in ‘Blood Game 3’, drawing attention.
