Wavve original entertainment ‘Queen Bee Game‘Monica and Jang Eun-sil are drawing attention by sharing their final thoughts ahead of the finals.
On the 15th (Friday), Wavve original ’Queen Bee Game‘ will come to an end. After going through extreme missions, only Monica‘s team and Jang Eun-sil’s team survived out of 6 teams, foreshadowing a final showdown, and they shared their determination and thoughts heading into the finals.
Monica and Jang Eun-sil are strong candidates to win, having shown completely opposite leadership styles from the start. They also showed contrasting reactions to their thoughts on advancing to the finals. Monica said, “I remember going to the filming set on the first day, half worried and half excited. I never dreamed of advancing to the finals”, while Jang Eun-sil said, “It felt like I had just come back from a school trip. From before filming until the finals, I only thought about winning. I definitely wanted to win by a landslide,” she said, revealing her confident aspirations.
Monica returned as the leader in place of Seo Hyun-sook through ’Day of Rebellion‘ after being eliminated in the 4th round, creating a twist. However, she must have needed to adapt to the sudden change in teammates and the new environment. “I wasn’t all that happy about advancing to the finals. While I felt that it would have been better if I had gone with the original members, I also felt grateful to the new members who helped me get here, so I had mixed feelings,” she recalled the confusing situation at the time.
Jang Eun-sil also chose parting ways with her teammates as the most difficult moment. “It was really hard to lose the game of turning the tables and have to let go of number 1 (Jung Yoo-jun). Following the answer, “I couldn’t hide my feelings of regret and guilt,” she said, “At first, I thought it was just a game and that I would only win, but as I unexpectedly became immersed in the situation, I think hidden sides of myself came out, such as shedding tears,” expressing her surprise at rediscovering herself in the “Queen Bee Game.”
Meanwhile, the sweetness of victory was short-lived, as both of them couldn’t hide their shock at the rules that were revealed right before the finals. When told that only two team members chosen by the leader would advance to the finals together, and that they had to eliminate the other team member who had worked hard with them, Monica said, “I felt very sorry towards my teammates, and it was difficult to be in a situation where I had no choice but to follow the rules,” and Jang Eun-sil also said, “It really isn’t over until it’s over. Along with the laughter-filled reaction of “What a really terrible production team,” a tension-filled development was foreshadowed.
“Queen Bee Game” started as a survival variety show inspired by the laws of the wild ruled by queen bees, and showed the conflicts and solidarity between team members, while also containing a cross-section of human society. Monica said, “All the participants participated with all their heart, as if that short period of time and that moment were everything,” and Jang Eun-sil said, “Not only does it have the tension unique to survival, but it also has various narratives such as friendship and betrayal between people, so you’ll be able to watch it like a drama,” encouraging much interest and support for the program until the end.
There is keen interest in who between Monica and Jang Eun-sil will be able to share the joy of victory with their team members, and how they will divide the prize money of 100 million won with their team members. The final episode of Wave Original‘s ’Queen Bee Game‘ will be exclusively pre-released on Wave at 9:30 PM on the 15th (Friday), and will air on ENA at 10:30 PM.
