Actor Hwang Jung-min will participate as a special narrator for KBS1‘s ‘Korean Table’ on the 14th.

In place of Choi Bul-am, who went on vacation after 14 years, a relay of narrations by junior actors who respect him will continue, with Lee Je-hoon, Ryu Seung-ryong, Ji Jin-hee, and now Hwang Jung-min adding his strength.

Hwang Jung-min, who visited the recording studio to narrate ‘Korean Table’ that day, said, “When you think of a table, it’s Hwang Jung-min,” and directly mentioned his ‘Feelings on the Table’ that garnered much attention and even produced memes when he won an award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards, causing an uproar of laughter.

Contrary to Hwang Jung-min‘s humble comment that “It was difficult because it was his first time doing narration”,”the production team praised him, saying, “The recording was finished in the shortest time ever”,”It sounded more comfortable because it was a voice I was familiar with from movies and dramas”.

In particular, Hwang Jung-min emphasized, “While recording, I focused on bringing out the flavor of the writing”,”making anticipation for the upcoming ‘Korean Table’ live broadcast with his voice that is as delicious as savory fermented soybean paste stew in an earthenware pot.

On the broadcast that day, Chungnam The taste of the nostalgic ttukbaegi that soothed our cold and hunger back then will be conveyed through the stories of the Sundae Gukbap restaurant in Cheonan, the Seolleongtang restaurant in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, and the ttukbaegi artisans representing both tradition and modernity.

The KBS 1TV ‘Korean Table’ ‘Containing Warm Longing, Mother’s Ttukbaegi’ episode, heard through the voice of Hwang Jung-min, will air on Thursday, the 14th at 7:40 PM.
