Channel A‘s ‘Current Parenting - My Golden Child’ will reveal the story of a ‘first-grade daughter who changes drastically when separated from her mother’.

A couple raising a daughter who is about to be first-grade will appear in the studio that day. Geum-jok, who was born late in her forties, is a bright and energetic honor student, but she is said to exhibit behavioral problems as soon as she is separated from her mother. Geum-jok is about to enter elementary school next year, and her mother is worried about Geum-jok, who is known as a troublemaker at daycare. Attention is focused on what the problem is with Geum-jok, who is completely different inside and outside the home.

In the observed daily life, Geum-jok catches the eye by starting her day by reading as soon as she opens her eyes and obeying her mother well. However, as soon as she arrives at daycare, she suddenly lies down on the floor, steals the teacher’s food, and laughs even when scolded, showing completely different behavior from at home. When she was with her mother, she seemed like a model student, but when she first saw Geum-jok‘s problem child side, her mother was surprised and bewildered.

The following video shows Geum-jok visiting an academy. Geum-jok is excellent at reading texts and finding answers that fit the six principles of the H1H. However, when a question was given that required her to infer the reason for an emotion, she hesitated and could not answer. She seemed to have difficulty with the question, “Why?”, and upon seeing this, Dr. Oh analyzed that Geum-jok was having difficulty reading other people’s positions and emotions.



Even though it was 9 p.m. and time to go to bed, Geum-jok was seen looking for chocolate. Due to Geum-jok‘s constant urging, her mother eventually asked her father to buy her some chocolate. However, Geum-jok bursts into tears again, saying that the chocolate her father bought was not the kind she wanted. Upon seeing this, her mother blames her father and asks him to buy her a different kind. In the end, the panelists are shocked to see the father leaving the house once again. When the mother says that she has no choice but to grant all of Geum-jok’s demands because it is hard to see her cry, Dr. Oh warns, “The mother is preventing the child from solving her own problems.”

Meanwhile, the studio is shocked as Geum-jok‘s childhood story is revealed. She confesses the shocking truth that she lived with her in-laws for five years after getting married and never left the room with Geum-jok. Everyone is curious to know what happened between the mother and Geum-jok.
