Q. How do you feel about receiving the [9th Dong-a.com‘s PICK] Award?

I sincerely thank you for giving me this one-of-a-kind ‘Hot Eyes Award’. I think it feels good to receive an award anytime. And it seems to give me the strength to move forward. With that strength, I want to become a Kim Ah-young who learns and grows more in the future. Thank you so much.

Q. What did you think when you saw the name of the award (Hot Eyes)?

I wanted to say that I worked hard because I thought to myself, ’My eyes have been working really hard all this time!‘


Q. Do you usually make an effort to keep your eyes healthy?

I try to take lutein, but I don‘t eat it often, so I often sleep with a warm eye mask on. That makes my eyes feel more comfortable.


Q. What does MZ mean to Kim Ah-young?

I think they are an honest generation. I think they are a generation that speaks and acts according to their own thoughts rather than worrying about what others think.


Q. If there’s a goal you want to achieve as actress Kim Ah-young

I want to create my own production. Some of my seniors are directors and actors. I also have a dream of directing someday. I definitely want to achieve it and receive the Hot Director Award from Donga.com someday (haha)
