Girls‘ Generation member Taeyeon shared her thoughts on joining the new cast of ‘Zombieverse: New Blood’.

Netflix original entertainment show ‘Zombieverse: New Blood’ (Zombieverse Season 2), which will be released on the 19th, is a variety show in which the cast members must survive by completing extraordinary quests in a virtual Seoul that has been transformed into a zombie world.

A total of 14 members, including the original members of Season 1, Noh Hong-chul, Lee Si-young, DinDin, Dex, Tsuki, Patricia, and Noh Hong-chul, as well as the new faces, Jo Se-ho, Defconn, Taeyeon, Yook Sung-jae, Code Kunst, Kwon Eun-bi, Kim Sun-tae, and Andre Rush, struggle for survival.

At a production conference held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 14th ahead of the release on the 19th, Taeyeon opened her mouth with a bright face, saying, “I enjoyed Season 1 so much that I was so excited to be cast.”

She continued, “I’m a fan of horror movies, but I didn‘t know I would get this immersed in filming. It was an opportunity for me to discover something new. I didn’t know I would be so surprised. My reaction was surprising to me.” Also, when asked about a memorable quest, she answered, “People were surprised at my own behavior of making unexpected choices instead of the ones that people would expect.”
