Actress Jo Soo-min has expressed her strong will to get married.
At the online production conference for Channel A‘s new weekend drama ‘Marry YOU’ held on the 15th, Jo Soo-min said, “This drama has a healing and warm charm. I appeared on the drama because I thought it would be able to provide healing to the viewers.”
She continued to explain about her role as the non-marriage civil servant Jeong Ha-na in the drama, saying, “The bright and honest character in the drama is similar to my real life,” but also saying, “The setting of a non-marriage in the drama is different from my real life. I really want to get married. That’s why I think there‘s about an 80% synchronization rate.”
She also said, “I put a lot of effort into realistically expressing the joys and sorrows of office workers. ”I tried to gradually express the process of opening my heart while meeting the character Bong-cheol (Lee Yi-kyung),“ he said, pointing out the key points to watch.
He talked about his changing views on marriage while filming the drama, saying, ”My mother and father met when they were 20 and got married at 28. Meanwhile, ‘Marry YOU’ is a comedic family drama about a couple matching between being single and getting married, about a civil servant Jeong Ha-na (Jo Soo-min) who believes in marriage and struggles to get island bachelor Bong Cheol-hee (Lee Yi-kyung) to marry in order to escape the marriage fraud team. First broadcast on the 16th at 7:50 PM.
