The KBS documentary Insight trilogy, ‘Volcano, Human’, which contains the hottest stories on Earth, has released a hot and mysterious first teaser video, drawing attention.
‘Volcano, Human’, which will air every Thursday at 10 PM for three weeks starting Thursday, November 28 on KBS 1TV, will contain the story of people living right next to volcanoes in the so-called ‘Ring of Fire’.
The 40,000km-long Pacific Rim surrounding the Pacific Ocean border is home to 75% of the world‘s volcanoes. It is also where about 90% of the world’s earthquakes occur. Hundreds of millions of people of various ethnicities live beneath these dangerous volcanoes. The production crew of ‘Volcano, Human’ takes a deep dive into the lives of people living with volcanoes in Asia, America, and the South Pacific. For them, volcanoes are sometimes the spark of ‘catastrophic disaster’, and sometimes the source of life that allows them to continue living. These people, who accept coexistence with volcanoes as their fate and sometimes live against them, convey to viewers their insights into life.
In the first teaser video for ‘Volcano, Human’, images of exploding magma, red lava, and terrifying lava intersect with the lives of plants, animals, and people. The heartfelt tears and bright laughter of the people in the volcanic zone make us feel the two faces of ‘volcano’, which is both a disaster and a religion.
The production crew used special equipment to film the crater of an active volcano up close, and fiercely captured the inside of the volcano, such as the coastal hydrothermal vents and underwater caves created by the volcano. ‘Volcano, Human’ was filmed in 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range, a technology that depicts the bright and dark areas of the image in greater detail to provide a picture quality that is closer to reality as if you were seeing it with your own eyes) ultra-high definition video, vividly conveying the beauty of the volcanic region as if it were real nature.
The documentary insight trilogy ‘Volcano, Human’, which covers the hottest story on Earth, will first air on KBS 1TV on Thursday, November 28 at 10 p.m.
