WayV‘s Ten and Yangyang, who took on the role of rhythm team coaches for ‘Universe League’, expressed their affection for their teammates.
At the production conference for SBS’s new boy group audition program ‘Universe League’, held at the SBS building in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 19th, Ten and Yangyang emphasized, “The rhythm team we‘re in charge of will show individual charms.”
Ten explained, “We try to teach the contestants solutions by looking at their individual characteristics. We try to tell them specifically how to look more fun when we’re on stage as a group. We‘re researching ways to better show each and every one of our charms.”
Yangyang also said, “When we debuted, we thought about how we would look better on camera. That’s why we‘re trying to make it so that our friends can watch comfortably.” He continued, “It hurt my heart when my teammates were traded. I was sad when I went to another team. It was sadder than I thought,” he said, revealing his side as a coach.
Meanwhile, ‘Universe League’ is a league-style audition where the teams compete to win a single Prism Cup. The program is conducted like an actual sports game. The coaches leading the three teams select players through a draft and compete.
