The album containing the soundtrack that became a hot topic along with the airing of the JTBC Wednesday drama ‘Prefabricated Family (written by Hong Si-young, directed by Kim Seung-ho)’ will be officially released on December 10th. Pre-orders will begin on the 21st.
‘Prefabricated Family’ received favorable reviews as a ‘well-made drama’ with a message that makes you think about the meaning of family and a refreshing youth story. Along with this, the music that added immersion drew attention by completing an atmosphere that was exquisitely harmonious with the play.
This OST album includes Ha Sung-woon‘s ‘Back Then’, which depicts a dazzling moment of youth, PITTA (Kang Hyung-ho)’s ‘Hundreds of Times, Thousands of Times’, which adds warm healing and pleasant vitality resembling youth, Shin Ji-hoon‘s ‘Short Tree’, which conveys gentle comfort with an affectionate melody, and Kim Pil’s ‘All Our Days’, which depicts regret for unspoken love with a lyrical sound.
Vincent Blue‘s ‘Why Me, Why You’, which contains the subtle emotions of love, Jung Soo-min’s ‘Breathe Your Breath’, which creates a lyrical mood with gentle acoustic guitar riffs and piano sounds, and Ji Cheon‘s ‘Beyond the sunrise’, which expresses feelings of longing and admiration, are also included.
‘We Are the Prettiest’, which features the three main actors Hwang In-yeop, Jung Chae-yeon, and Bae Hyun-sung, is also released, adding persuasiveness to the story of the play and delivering deep emotions.
In particular, excluding ‘Breathe Your Breath’ and ‘Beyond The Sunrise’, a total of six song tracks include ‘Marry My Husband’, ‘Misaeng’, ‘My Mister’, ‘Itaewon Director Park Sung-il of Curiosity Studio, known for ‘Class’, participated in the producing. In this ‘Prefabricated Family’, he beautifully delivered the universal theme of family and love with a perfect sense of unity OST, showing great chemistry with the drama.
Not only the songs of the artists with strong musicality and solid skills, but also the 27 score sounds that completed the drama with refreshing, fresh, and heartbreaking emotions at the right places are expected to leave a lively aftertaste to the viewers.
