Han Ji-hyun is in danger of death.

In episode 5 of KBS2‘s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Face Me’ (directed by Jo Rok-hwan/written by Hwang Ye-jin) aired on the 20th, Cha Jung-woo (played by Lee Min-ki) and Lee Min-hyung (played by Han Ji-hyun) began to fall into confusion due to the appearance of Lee Jin-seok (played by Yoon Jung-il).

In that day’s broadcast, Min-hyung confronted Jin-seok, the murderer of Jung-woo‘s ex-girlfriend and his older brother, heightening the tension. Min-hyung was furious that his older brother Jin-seok had been hovering around Jung-woo all this time, and Jin-seok raised his voice, saying that no one believed him. At that time, Jin-seok caused confusion by saying the meaningful words, “Wait. I have something prepared too.” During the fight, Min-hyung got injured and turned around without saying anything when Jung-woo asked if he had seen Jin-seok’s face.

Min-hyung also reacted sensitively when Jung-woo asked to confirm Jin-seok‘s release. It makes one wonder how Jung-woo will react when he finds out the identity of Jin-seok, Min-hyung’s older brother, and what Min-hyung‘s actions will be in the future as he is confused by the unexpected appearance of his older brother.

Meanwhile, Min-hyung went to Jung-woo’s house to get his coat and cell phone and ran straight there when he heard a commotion nearby. It turned out that Kim Seon-yong (played by Kim Jung-jin), who had delivered to Jung-woo‘s neighbor, had injured Woo Min-jae (played by Kim Min-ki). Jung-woo examined the victim with a wounded face, and Min-hyung succeeded in arresting the perpetrator. Seon-yong was angry at Min-hyung for doubting her because of her criminal record, and she showed complicated feelings as she recalled a similar situation her own older brother Jin-seok had been in in the past.

In addition, Jung-woo instinctively felt that there was something behind this incident after seeing the glass shards embedded in Min-jae’s chin and the bruises on his arms. He asked Min-hyung to investigate closely, saying that the shards did not fall and become embedded, but rather seemed to have been intentionally stabbed.

Min-hyung found out that the relationship between Jo Soo-kyung (played by Lee Seo) and Min-jae was not good, and he dug into it persistently, and the case became a cold one when another patient (played by Lee Jung-chan) in the room next to Min-jae testified that Soo-kyung and Min-jae were teacher and student. Here, Soo-kyung changed her statement, saying that Min-jae got hurt in an argument because of the leak of her sexual assault video, and that she blamed the delivery man for it.

At the end of the broadcast, Min-hyung asked Soo-kyung to accompany him voluntarily to punish him for making a false statement and to write a report. Min-jae, who witnessed this, struck the back of Min-hyung‘s head with his laptop, knocking him out. Then, a creepy situation unfolded where Soo-kyung handed Min-jae a knife and said, “Take care of it.” At this time, when Jung-woo rang the doorbell in front of the house, a scene unfolded where Min-jae, sensing danger, tried to swing his knife at Min-hyung, delivering suffocating tension to the living room theater.

In this way, the 5th episode of ‘Face Me’ made viewers cringe with the psychological warfare of cat and mouse between Jung-woo, Min-hyung, and Jin-seok. With Jin-seok’s appearance, attention is focused on how the relationship between Jung-woo and Min-hyung will change in the future, and the perfect cooperation between Jung-woo and Min-hyung as they dig into the new case adds to the excitement of the drama.

Episode 6 of KBS 2TV‘s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Face Me’ will air at 9:50 p.m. today (the 21st).
