NCT Doyoung will be revealed to be absorbed in studying Korean history on MBC‘s ‘I Live Alone’. He attracts attention by revealing that he started studying Korean history because he realized that he wasn’t able to study properly as an idol trainee during his school days.

On the upcoming 6th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘I Live Alone’ (directed by Heo Hang, Kang Ji-hee, Park Soo-bin, Lee Kyung-eun, and Moon Ki-young), the reason why NCT Doyoung started studying Korean history will be revealed.

Doyoung busily prepares a dish, saying that he’s into ‘this’, which tastes even better when eaten in the winter. He was seen eating a table full of his favorite tteokbokki, sundae, fried food, and ‘this’, raising curiosity about what ‘this’ is.



Doyoung was also caught watching a Korean history lecture while eating. He said, “I’m very interested in Korean history,” and revealed that he passed the Level 2 Korean History Proficiency Test three years ago. When asked why he started studying Korean history, Doyoung said, “When I was a dean and became an idol trainee, I felt like I had left my studies halfway through,” and “I thought that I wanted to study properly in any field.”

After finishing his meal, Doyoung grabbed his books and notebook and started to focus on studying Korean history in earnest. Doyoung studies every moment between finishing his schedule and going to bed. The sight of his handwritten notes, which he personally organized by era, also draws attention.

Doyoung, who had been focusing on the lecture with his eyes wide open, begins to close his eyes as drowsiness attacks pour in. Expectations are high for how Doyoung will deal with the drowsiness crisis.
