The final fierce battle between the ‘Steel Troop W’ special forces and the Marine Corps unfolds.
Episode 12 of ‘Steel Troop W’, which airs on Channel A at 10 p.m. on the 17th (Tuesday), will show the special forces and the Marine Corps engaging in a fierce battle with 180-degree different strategies in the first round of the final, ‘Ship Search and Rescue Operation’.
On this day, the special forces and the Marine Corps gather on the coast where a huge 3,000-ton ship is anchored in bad weather with heavy rain and waves. Immediately after, Master Choi Young-jae announces, “The operation name for the first round of the final is ‘Ship Search and Rescue Operation’”, and the two units hold a strategy meeting and launch into the mission. However, only three people board the IBS of each unit, raising the curiosity of the ‘Studio MC Corps’. With only three people boarding the IBS and paddling for the first time in the history of the ‘Steel Troops’, curiosity is focused on where the remaining members of both units are.
The three members cross the sea while overcoming the rough waves even in the harsh conditions where their balance is off. In particular, the Marine Corps surprises by demonstrating a meticulous and planned execution ability in the IBS according to their strategy of “overwhelming at sea”. Meanwhile, Agent Lee Soo-yeon urgently shouts “Catch the water!” and then uses a shocking strategy, giving the ‘Studio MC Corps’ goosebumps.
On the other hand, the special forces focus on the ‘CQB (counter-terrorism) operation’ inside the ship, following the strategy of “quickly suppressing (the opposing force) on the ship”. With the ‘winning point’ between the two units clearly divided, a close match continues on the ship, and eventually, the eight agents from both units are seen sprinting towards the finish line, making the ‘MC Corps’ gape.
One agent rushes forward as if he has a motor, and MC Kim Hee-chul cannot hide his shock upon seeing this, saying, “Why is he so fast?”. Kim Dong-hyun is also ‘surprised”, saying, “How did this happen?”, and Jang Eun-sil exclaims, “Isn‘t that Dex?”. Everyone is curious to see who will be the owner of the ‘Usain Bolt’ level running skills that astonished the ‘MC Corps’ as a group.
Meanwhile, ‘Steel Troop W’, which aired on the 10th, showed off its solid popularity by recording a peak viewership rating of 3.3% per minute (Nielsen Korea nationwide paid broadcasting households), and it is continuing its overwhelming popularity by taking 2nd place in the ‘TV Non-Drama Topic’ on the Fundex Chart (announced on December 10th) compiled by Good Data Corporation, as well as 3rd place in ‘TV-OTT Non-Drama Topic’, 6th place in ‘TV Integrated Topic’, and 10th place in ‘TV-OTT Integrated Topic’.
The first and second rounds of the finals between the Special Forces and Marine Corps, as well as the identity of the final winning unit that will take the title of the strongest female army, can be seen on the 12th episode of ‘Steel Troop W’ on Channel A, which airs at 10 p.m. on the 17th.
