Go Hyun-jung, how was it on set? Great juniors “Senior like the sky, couldn‘t sleep because I was nervous” (Namib)
How was actress Go Hyun-jung on set?
At the production conference for ‘Namib’, held on the afternoon of the 16th at the The Saint Grand Ballroom on the 6th floor of Sindorim D-Cube City in Guro-gu, Seoul, questions were raised about her feelings about working with Go Hyun-jung and her chemistry. On that day, Go Hyun-jung announced that she would not be attending the event due to deteriorating health.
Yoon Sang-hyun, who acted as a married couple, said, “She made us feel more comfortable on set than I had worried about, and when there were difficult scenes like emotional scenes, she supported me well so that I could do well. She really likes comedic acting, so I taught her a lot. I also gave her guidance on comedic acting because I was in a difficult position”.
Ryeo-woon, who appeared as an idol trainee produced by Go Hyun-jung, said, “I couldn’t sleep because I was so nervous before filming. When I went to the set, they made me feel so comfortable. They guided me well from the front so that I could act well. Later, I was able to act comfortably and well. Our chemistry was good.”
Lee Jin-woo, who acted in the relationship between Go Hyun-jung and her son, said, “It felt like a dream from the time we did the script reading. I couldn’t help but be nervous because I was with such great seniors. The seniors made the set atmosphere comfortable, so I was able to act really comfortably.”
“Namib” is a drama that tells the story of a fired star producer Kang Soo-hyun (played by Go Hyun-jung) and a released long-term trainee Yoo Jin-woo (played by Ryeo-woon) meeting and moving forward toward their own goals. It will be first broadcast on ENA at 10 p.m. on Monday the 23rd, and streaming will be provided for free on KT Genie TV and Genie TV Mobile immediately after the original broadcast.
