Actors Uhm Ji-won and Ahn Jae-wook will star in KBS2‘s new weekend drama ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers’.

Scheduled to premiere in February 2025, KBS 2TV’s new weekend drama ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers’ (directed by Choi Sang-yeol / written by Koo Hyun-sook) is a well-made family drama about the five unique brothers of the ‘Eagle Brewery’, who have carried on the long tradition, and the eldest sister-in-law who becomes the head of the household after her husband‘s sudden death only ten days after getting married. Director Choi Sang-yeol of ‘Pure Boxer’, ‘Drama Special - Hee-soo’, ‘Thief Sleep’ and writer Koo Hyun-sook of ‘The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop’, ‘The Legendary Witch’, ‘A Hundred Year Legacy’ have teamed up for the drama.

Uhm Ji-won, who joined as the lead actress of ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers’, plays the role of Ma Kwang-sook, a section chief at the Siwan Post Office who went from being a gold miss to a widow. She is a cheerful and lively character who throws fastballs regardless of time and place. Kwang-sook, who was a gold miss until she was 45, meets Oh Jang-soo, the CEO of ‘Eagle Brewery’, and gets married, but soon after, her husband Jang-soo gets into an unexpected accident and becomes a widow. Later, she takes over the brewery and transforms into the head of the household with four younger siblings. Uhm Ji-won will bring fun and emotion to the living room theater with her role as Ma Kwang-sook, a woman with a twisted story.

Uhm Ji-won has solidified her own characters in dramas such as ‘Cruel Intern’, ‘Little Women’, ‘Postpartum Care Center’, ‘Spring Turns to Spring’, and has also shown diverse acting variations regardless of genre in films such as ‘The Cursed’, ‘The Bizarre Family’, ‘Master’, ‘Missing: The Woman Who Disappeared’. It makes viewers even more curious to see what kind of appearance she will show to captivate them in this work.

Ahn Jae-wook plays Han Dong-seok, the chairman of LX Hotel and the born-to-be diamond spoon in ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers’. Dong-seok is a prickly and haughty character who is called the ‘Hedgehog Prince’ because he clearly knows right from wrong and likes and dislikes. Having lost his wife 15 years ago, he has been living a life of loneliness until he becomes entangled with Ma Kwang-sook (played by Uhm Ji-won). Ahn Jae-wook, who will attempt yet another acting transformation through this work, is expected to provide enjoyment with his delightful chemistry with Uhm Ji-won.

Ahn Jae-wook, who has shown great acting in dramas such as ‘Namnam’, ‘The Empire: Empire of Law’, ‘The Driver’, and ‘Mouse’, has captivated viewers with his unrivaled presence.
