Actress Oh Jung-yeon reveals herself visiting an infertility specialty hospital.

On the 8th episode of the SBS Plus/E Channel jointly produced entertainment show ‘Because I‘m Solo’, which airs at 8:40 PM on the 17th (today), Oh Jung-yeon visits an infertility specialty hospital and undergoes a procedure to retrieve her eggs.

When I turned 39, I thought, ‘If I continue to be single like this, should I give up hope of having children?’. That‘s why I started freezing my eggs right away.” As a result, I currently have 22 eggs frozen through three egg retrieval procedures.

Oh Jung-yeon added, “(After freezing 22 eggs), I thought I should stop, but I heard that (egg retrieval) gets harder as you get older, so I went back to the hospital. ‘Solo sister’ Chae Rim, who was watching this in the studio, said, “I know all too well the hardships (of egg retrieval). Min-woo was also born after about a year and a half of in vitro fertilization. (During the procedure), I sat down and cried a lot every time it failed. There will be a day like that (for Oh Jung-yeon) in the future, so you should be strong,” he says, giving her loving advice along with deep empathy.

After a while, Oh Jung-yeon meets with the doctor in charge and is delighted by the diagnosis: “Your ovarian age is 39, which is two years younger than your actual age.” After hearing the doctor’s advice: “Do walking instead of intense exercise,” she takes an ovulation injection and returns home.
