‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers!’ has revealed the script reading scene that was held in a friendly atmosphere.

KBS2‘s new weekend drama ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers!’ (directed by Choi Sang-yeol / written by Koo Hyun-sook), scheduled to premiere in February 2025, is a drama that depicts a mature family story created by the five unique brothers of the long-established brewery Eagle Brewery and the eldest sister-in-law who suddenly becomes the head of the household after her husband’s sudden death just ten days after her wedding.

The main characters who will lead ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers!’ gathered in one place at the script reading scene. The entire cast and production crew, including writer Ku Hyeon-sook, director Choi Sang-yeol, and actors Uhm Ji-won (as Ma Kwang-sook), Ahn Jae-wook (as Han Dong-seok), Choi Dae-chul (as Oh Cheon-soo), Kim Dong-wan (as Oh Heung-soo), Yoon Park (as Oh Beom-soo), Lee Seok-ki (as Oh Kang-soo), Park Jun-geum (as Gong Ju-sil), Choi Byung-mo (as Dokgo Tak), Bae Hae-sun (as Jang Mi-ae), Kim Jun-bae (as Go Ja-dong), Park Hyo-joo (as Moon Mi-soon), Yoo In-young (as Ji Gok-bun), Kim Seung-yoon (as Han Bom), Shin Seul-gi (as Dokgo Se-ri), and Lee Pil-mo (as Oh Jang-soo), showed their passion for the drama.

As soon as the script reading began in earnest, the actors instantly immersed themselves in the play. The actors, who boasted perfect chemistry to the point that it was hard to believe it was their first time working together, quickly created a heated atmosphere on set.

Uhm Ji-won, who plays the role of the gold miss Ma Kwang-sook who throws fastballs regardless of time and place, and Ahn Jae-wook, who plays the role of Han Dong-seok, the prickly and arrogant diamond spoon and chairman of LX Hotel, showed off their acting skills without holding back, as expected from veteran actors. The two who are acting together for the first time through this production raised expectations for the actual broadcast by creating pleasant chemistry from the beginning.

In addition, the set was filled with laughter with the diverse acting of the actors including Choi Dae-chul, Kim Dong-wan, Yoon Park, Lee Seok-ki, Park Jun-geum, Choi Byung-mo, Bae Hae-sun, Kim Jun-bae, Park Hyo-joo, Yoo In-young, Kim Seung-yoon, Shin Seul-gi, and even special appearance Lee Pil-mo.

After the script reading, Uhm Ji-won said, “All the actors brought their characters to life so well that I had fun participating in the reading,” while Ahn Jae-wook said, “I hope you will have high expectations and wait for the day when you can watch our drama.”

Choi Max-cheol said, “There are many points to watch, such as the brothers‘ friendship as well as their love, so I think you should focus on those,” and Kim Dong-wan said, “I’m really looking forward to it, but I‘m also really looking forward to the stories of other people and other families. I believe you’re all looking forward to it, too.”

Yoon Park also introduced it as “a family-like and warm drama,” and Lee Seok-ki said, “I would be grateful if you focused on the characters, each with their own charm.” Lastly, Lee Pil-mo said, “I think you can just watch it with a warm heart,” raising interest in the first episode.

Director Choi Sang-yeol, who has delicate directing skills, and writer Koo Hyun-sook, who boasts solid writing skills, have joined forces for KBS 2TV‘s new weekend drama, ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers!’, the sequel to ‘Iron Family’, and is scheduled to premiere in February 2025.
