‘Active Archers’ Ansan-Im Si-hyeon-Choi Mi-sun-Nam Soo-hyun Join ‘League of Legends’

The ‘Active Archers 4-member group’ Choi Mi-sun, Ansan, Im Si-hyeon, and Nam Soo-hyun will be joining SBS‘s new sports entertainment show ‘League of Legends’ for the Lunar New Year holidays.

SBS’s Lunar New Year special ‘League of Legends’ is a sports entertainment show that depicts a timeless competition between South Korean archery legends. The ‘Archery’ legends who have made a splash not only in Korea but around the world will all be appearing.

The ‘Active Archers 4-member group’ revealed this time are star archers with high recognition as well as achievements in international competitions such as the Olympics. First, Choi Mi-seon is the ‘eldest active player’, who has drawn attention by winning the gold medal in the team event at the ‘2016 Rio Olympics’ and the team event at the ‘2022 Hangzhou Asian Games’. In particular, she is a direct junior of Ki Bo-bae, who was named in the ‘Legend’ lineup, and Gwangju Women‘s University’s gold medalist in the Olympic team event.

Following Ki Bo-bae and Choi Mi-seon, An San, who is also a member of the Gwangju Women‘s University lineage, will also be joining the team. An San is a star player who won gold medals in the team event, mixed team event, and individual event at the ‘2020 Tokyo Olympics’, and is an ‘Olympic triple crown’.

Archery stars from the ‘2024 Paris Olympics’ will also be joining the team. Lim Si-hyeon, the ‘Paris Olympic Triple Crown Champion’ who swept the team, mixed team, and individual gold medals and is currently ranked #1 in the world, and Nam Su-hyeon, born in 2005, who rose to stardom by winning a gold medal in the team event and a silver medal in the individual event at her first Olympic appearance, the ‘2024 Paris Olympics’, have also confirmed their participation.

The ‘Legendary Lineup’ was previously revealed to be Ki Bo-bae, Yoon Mi-jin, Jang Hye-jin, Joo Hyun-jung, Yoon Ok-hee, Choi Hyun-joo, Lee Sung-jin, and Kim Moon-jung. With the addition of ‘Active Lineup’ Choi Mi-seon, Ahn San, Lim Si-hyeon, and Nam Su-hyeon, the ‘League of Legends’ has completed the strongest ‘player lineup’ of all time, rivaling the national team. Legends and active players will have a heated match in the team event.
