Actor Lee Jong-suk has donated his warm heart to children and vulnerable patients.

Actor Lee Jong-suk donated 100 million won to the Seoul Asan Medical Center Children‘s Hospital for pediatric and adolescent patients and the Vulnerable Patient Support Fund.

The Seoul Asan Medical Center Children’s Hospital will use Lee Jong-suk‘s donation to support the treatment costs of pediatric and adolescent patients who are having difficulty receiving treatment due to financial burden, as well as to provide integrated medical services that can alleviate the suffering of pediatric and adolescent patients with severe illnesses and their families and improve their quality of life. The Vulnerable Patient Support Fund will be used to support medical expenses for treatment and surgery costs for patients who are fighting illness and living with illness in difficult environments.

Lee Jong-suk previously donated 100 million won to the Seoul Asan Medical Center Children’s Hospital in 2023. Regarding Lee Jong-suk‘s good deed of donating again this year, the Seoul Asan Medical Center said, “We are grateful for actor Lee Jong-suk’s donation to our hospital this year, following last year. Last year, actor Lee Jong-suk‘s donation to a children’s hospital was a great help to pediatric and adolescent patients, and I hope it will be a great help to children and vulnerable patients this year as well,” he said, expressing his gratitude.

Lee Jong-suk, who has been consistently doing good deeds since 2016, visits places in need of a helping hand every year, from supporting young people preparing to become independent to the Korean Medical Association and international relief and development NGOs, and spares no effort in showing his warm interest and support.

Meanwhile, Lee Jong-suk, who is wrapping up the end of the year on a warm note, will be returning in 2025 with the new tvN drama ‘Seocho-dong’. This drama deals with the life of a lawyer who goes to work in Seocho-dong every day, and is a work that was created by director Park Seung-woo, who worked with Lee Jong-suk on the MBC drama W, and writer Lee Seung-hyun, who is originally a lawyer. The public‘s expectations are rising for the realistic life of a lawyer that Lee Jong-suk will portray.
