The comedy action film ‘Amazon Hwalmyeongsu’, starring Ryu Seung-ryong and Jin Seon-kyu, has announced that it has confirmed its overseas release, targeting global theaters beyond Korea.

According to distributor Barunson E&A on the 5th, ‘Amazon Hwalmyeongsu’ will be released in Indonesia on November 13, Singapore on November 14, and Vietnam on November 15. After that, it is scheduled to be released sequentially in various Asian countries including Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Japan. Not only that, but the rights to the CIS and worldwide, including South America such as Brazil and Mexico, were sold.

The Vietnamese distributor that distributed ‘The Grave’, the highest-grossing Korean film of all time in Vietnam, said about ‘Amazon Hwalmyungsu’ confirming its release in Vietnam, “Ryu Seung-ryong‘s comedic acting is back and we can’t stop laughing. We have high expectations to be showing the most cheerful and warm film of the year, ‘Amazon Hwalmyungsu’, in Vietnamese theaters.” The South American distributor that distributed the ‘The Outlaws’ series said, “‘The Amazon Rain’ was filmed in Brazil, so we have a special connection with it, and we believe it is an attractive film that will resonate with audiences in the South American region, which is why we decided to distribute it.”

Meanwhile, ‘The Amazon Rain’ is a comic action film about Jin-bong (Ryu Seung-ryong), a former national archery team member who is subject to restructuring at home and at work, meeting his Korean-American interpreter Bbang-sik (Jin Seon-gyu) and three Amazon warriors with gifted archery skills, and getting their act together properly.
