The mega blockbuster ‘Harbin’, starring actor Hyun Bin, has confirmed its Christmas release on December 25th.

‘Harbin’ is a work that depicts the breathtaking pursuit and suspicion between those heading to Harbin in 1909 with a single purpose and those chasing them. It is garnering attention for depicting the life-threatening journey of independence fighters through the eyes of director Woo Min-ho, who created ‘The Man Standing Next’, ‘Inside Men’.

The press stills released along with the news of the confirmed release include Ahn Jung-geun (Hyun Bin), Woo Deok-soon (Park Jung-min), Kim Sang-hyun (Jo Woo-jin), Gong Bu-in (Jeon Yeo-bin), Mori Tatsuo (Park Hoon), Choi Jae-hyung (Yoo Jae-myung), Lee Chang-seop (Lee Dong-wook) appears. The stills alone that capture the turbulent journey of the independence fighters heading to Harbin, filled with their fighting spirit and determination, raise expectations for the birth of a famous scene.

Meanwhile, foreign media that previewed the film at the Toronto International Film Festival praised it, saying, “An attractive climax” (Variety) and “Beautiful action sequences” (Screen International), while general audiences also praised it, saying, “A masterpiece”, “You can feel the emotion just by looking at the actors‘ eyes”, and “A work that drives home the point of historical dramas! It was completed with beautiful visuals and amazing acting.”
