The ‘Tony Tony Leung Exhibition’, where you can see 11 of actor Tony Leung‘s representative works, will be held in December.
The ‘Tony Tony Leung Exhibition’, consisting of 11 of Tony Leung’s representative works from the 1980s to 1990s, the golden age of Hong Kong cinema, to the present, will be held for two weeks from December 18 to December 31 at CGV Arthouse.
A total of 11 films will be screened, including ‘Infernal Affairs Remastered’, ‘Infernal Affairs 3: Ultimate Infernal Affairs Remastered’, ‘Chungking Express Remastered’, ‘In the Mood for Love Remastered’, ‘Happy Together Remastered’, ‘2046 Remastered’, ‘Amhwa’, ‘Dongseongseochui’, ‘Dongsa Seodok Redux’, ‘Buenos Aires Zero Degree’, ‘Color, Key’.
In particular, the 4K remastered version of the ‘Infernal Affairs’ series, which won him the Hong Kong Golden Horse Award and the Golden Statue of Liberty for Best Actor, and ‘A Tale of Two Sisters’, which Tony Leung recommended during his visit to the 2022 Busan International Film Festival, are scheduled to be screened in Korea for the first time, which is expected to be a special gift for fans.
Meanwhile, Tony Leung, who is famous for expressing tens of thousands of emotions with just his gaze to the point that he is said to have ‘a look is a genre’, won the Best Actor Award at the 53rd Cannes Film Festival for ‘In the Mood for Love’, becoming the first Hong Kong actor to win the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival. Since then, he has appeared in many of the works of director Wong Kar-wai, who created the Hong Kong film craze, and has received much love from movie fans around the world as one of the faces representing Hong Kong films along with the late Leslie Cheung and Jacky Ching-wu.
