“The color you are is what wakes me up” DAY6, opening with ‘Colors’ from their debut album

The popular band DAY6 opened their 2024 year-end concert with ‘Colors’.

DAY6 held their solo concert ‘2024 DAY6 Special Concert ‘The Present’’(2024 DAY6 Special Concert ‘The Present’) at Gocheok Sky Dome in Gyeongin-ro, Guro-gu, Seoul at 6 PM on the 21st. This concert, which was held over two days following the previous day, met with a total of 38,000 My Day (official fandom) over two performances.

The opening song that day was ‘Colors’(Colors) from DAY6‘s 2015 debut album ‘The Day’. ‘Colors’ is a song that unravels DAY6’s philosophical concerns in their early 20s, when they were wondering who they were, what they would pursue in life, and what kind of person they would become. It is also considered the track that best captures DAY6‘s emotions in their debut album. As the first band under JYP Entertainment, DAY6 has always taken on challenges throughout their 10-year career, and in line with this, this concert also drew a hot response with its unconventional opening song selection.

Meanwhile, DAY6, who decorated the end of 2024 with MYDAY in a splendid way, will continue their third world tour ‘DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR’ (Forever Young). All tickets to the concerts around the world, including Incheon in September, Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Surabaya, and Jakarta in October, Singapore in November, Bangkok in November~December, Hong Kong in January 2025, and Los Angeles and New York in April, have been sold out. With the series of performances being added and the scale expanded, the show will continue in Kaohsiung on January 18-19, Hong Kong on the 25th-26th, Osaka on February 12-13, Tokyo on the 15th-16th, Manila on the 22nd, Sydney on April 6, Melbourne on the 9th, Auckland, New Zealand on the 12th, Los Angeles on the 16th-17th, and New York on the 19th.
