Group EPEX delivers comfort and empathy to the youth with their second full-length album.
EPEX will release their second full-length album ‘Diary of Youth (韶華) 2: Lack of Youth’ through various online music sites at 6 PM on the 5th. They will then hold a fan showcase and begin full-fledged comeback activities.
‘Diary of Youth (韶華) 2: Lack of Youth’ is the second story of EPEX‘s trilogy of full-length albums about youth. If the first full-length album, ‘Xiao Hua (韶華) Chapter 1: Youth’, released in April of this year, sang of pure love and worries, in this album, Apex deals with complex deficiencies and the fulfillment of deficiencies through choices at every moment.
The title song, ‘UNIVERSE’, is a song about the universe chosen by Apex. It makes you feel the mindset of youth with its straightforward and powerful melody and clear message. On stage, an overwhelming performance with Just Jerk Eugene, Turns Jonah, and choreographer Jayrick was anticipated.
Next, this album includes the pre-released and sweet love song ‘My Girl’, ‘Romantic Girl (1997)’ directed at her living in 1997, ‘It is what it is’ that conveys the lack that today’s youth need, ‘Attosecond’ that expresses a fleeting moment in a funky way, ‘Wonderful’ that sings of miracles in ordinary daily life, ‘About Lost Things (Closer)’ about the loss of youth, and ‘Loner’ that contains the message that loneliness should be welcomed.
Along with the high-quality music, Apex also released concept photos, From music video teasers to story films, they are presenting diverse content to visually and persuasively show the ‘Lack of Youth’. Apex‘s fantasy movie-like visuals that erase the limitations of time and space make us look forward to their second full-length album even more.
Apex is expected to successfully continue their unusual full-length album series and fully play the role of representing the voices of youth living in the same era.
Apex’s second full-length album ‘Different 2nd Album: Lack of Youth’ will be available for listening to on various online music sites starting at 6 PM today (the 5th).
