Girl group Le Serafim‘s ‘Easy’ music video has surpassed 100 million views.
According to their agency Source Music, the music video for Le Serafim’s ‘Easy’, the title track of their third mini album released on February 19, surpassed 100 million views on YouTube as of 4:20 p.m. on the 4th.
With this, Seraphim has achieved the record of surpassing 100 million views for the seventh time in the team‘s history, following their debut song ‘FEARLESS’, the title song of their second mini album ‘ANTIFRAGILE’, the title song of their first full-length album ‘UNFORGIVEN’ and the track ‘Eve, Psyche and Bluebeard’s Wife’, their first English digital single ‘Perfect Night’, and the track ‘Smart’ from their third mini album.
‘Easy’ is an attractive song with a combination of catchy R&B style vocals and an addictive melody. The song‘s music video was filmed in Los Angeles, USA, and was directed by Nina McNeely, a director and choreographer who has worked with famous international artists such as Doja Cat and The Weeknd.
The music video is characterized by its directing that adds new elements to the familiar. The flashy neon signs and sculptures contrasting with the antique stone building, and the members’ faces projected onto the chiffon curtains give it a fresh feel. In the video, Le Seraphim perfectly performed an old-school hip-hop dance that combines leisurely gestures and charisma, receiving an enthusiastic response.
Meanwhile, Le Seraphim will perform on the stage of Europe‘s largest music awards ceremony, the ‘2024 MTV Europe Music Awards’ (2024 MTV EMA), to be held in Manchester, England on the 10th (local time). They were nominated in three categories: ‘Best New’, ‘Best Push’, and ‘Best K-Pop’ among the list of this year’s award nominees previously announced by ‘2024 MTV EMA’.
