BTS‘s Jin personally introduced his first solo album ‘Happy’ to his fans.

On the second day of the fan showcase ‘Jin Happy Special Stage’ held at Jangchung Gymnasium in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 17th, Jin performed the title song ‘Running Wild’ of ‘Happy’ as well as other new songs from his new album to his fans.

On the stage that day, he said, “I’m excited and nervous. My album was released two days ago. I wanted to create an opportunity to properly introduce my first solo album ‘Happy’. Since this album was made for ARMY, I came here with a firm determination to make you all happy,” expressing his special love for his fans.

Jin said, “I‘m a person who makes ARMY happy. That’s why I titled the album ‘Happy’,” he said, revealing the behind-the-scenes story of the production of the songs on the album.

In particular, he garnered attention by revealing that the duet with Red Velvet‘s Wendy, ’Heart on the Window‘, came about after a single phone call. He said, “I was eating with Knowing Brothers and he told me he had Wendy’s phone number so I asked him to call me right away. So as soon as Wendy answered, I said, ‘I’m Jin from BTS and I want to do a duet with you on my upcoming album.‘ She immediately said, ’Yes,‘ and the duet came about very quickly.”

Meanwhile, Jin released his first solo album, ’Happy‘, on the 15th. The new album contains 6 tracks, including the title track ‘Running Wild’, the pre-released track ‘I Will Be There’, and the fan song ‘Longing’.
