Singer Younha has successfully kicked off her year-end concert tour in Seoul.
Younha held her 2024 year-end concert ‘GROWTH THEORY’ for three days from the 15th to the 17th at the KSPO DOME (former Gymnastics Arena) in Seoul Olympic Park.
‘GROWTH THEORY’ is the finale of Younha‘s 20-concert relay concert project that she has been continuing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut this year. Younha, who released her 7th regular album of the same name ‘GROWTH THEORY’ last September, and her 7th repackaged album ‘GROWTH THEORY: Final Edition’ on the 14th of this month, the day before the tour, led a solid performance of a total of 23 songs, including all 13 new songs. Also, through the 360-degree circular and protruding stages, she was able to breathe closely with more fans.
Youn Ha’s high-quality live stage combined with the performance concept that transferred the album story gave an overwhelming sense of immersion. Youn Ha, who unraveled the girl‘s grand sea journey in her 7th album and repackaged album, passionately sang each title song ‘Sun Fish’, ‘Point Nemo’, and the included tracks ‘Quasar’, ‘Cape Horn’, ‘Coriolis Force’ on a stage that embodied a yacht. The video, which incorporated elements such as the ocean, puffer fish, clouds, and sunsets, also immersed the audience in Younha’s deep worldview.
Younha performed a dance performance in sync with 20 dancers on stages such as ‘Cape Horn’, ‘Silver Flower’, and ‘Oort Cloud’, where accordion performances were added to the band session, stimulating the audience‘s audiovisual senses at the same time.
In addition, Younha showcased her explosive singing ability that encompassed various emotions on stages such as ‘Black Hole’, ‘No Limit’, ‘Salbyeol’, and ‘Comet’. For the encore, following ‘Hope’, the reverse hit ‘Event Horizon’, the performance-based ‘I Have a Plan’, and the final track of the 7th repackaged album ‘GiTeukHae’, they left a lasting impression.
Younha’s 7th regular repackaged album ‘GROWTH THEORY: Final Edition’ is a growth theory book that unravels everything that will disappear someday and the process that does not disappear. The title song ‘Point Nemo’ is receiving favorable reviews as a track that highlights Younha‘s signature narrative and lyrical band sound.
Younha’s 2024 year-end concert ‘GROWTH THEORY’ will be held in Incheon on the 30th, in Daegu on December 14th, and in Busan on the 25th.
