Netflix‘s ‘Squid Game 2’ has begun its global box office run amidst mixed viewer responses. According to FlixPatrol, an OTT ranking site, on the 29th, ‘Squid Game 2’ ranked first in the Netflix global TV show category as of the previous day. The drama, which was released on the 26th, topped a total of 93 regions, including Korea, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. This made it the most-watched content in all countries where the site compiles rankings. ‘Squid Game 2’ is a follow-up story to Season 1, which caused a worldwide sensation in 2021. Season 3 is scheduled to be released in the first half of next year.
