Actress Yoon Se-ah will be revealing her solo life, where 24 hours in a day are not enough, for the first time on TV.
On the second episode of the SBS Plus·E Channel jointly produced entertainment show ‘Because I‘m Solo’, which airs at 8:40 PM on the 5th (Tuesday), Yoon Se-ah will show off her ‘Solo House’ and real daily life in detail.
With the two MCs Shin Dong-yup, Hwang Jung-eum, and ‘Solo Unnie’ Chae Rim present in the studio that day, Yoon Se-ah greets them warmly, saying, “I feel a great sense of stability and comfort because I’m single, so I‘m living a fulfilling and fun life”. She then says, “I usually like a regular life”, and shows off her daily life in her ‘Solo House’.
Yoon Se-ah wakes up at 5:20 AM and goes for a run. Everyone is surprised to see Yoon Se Ah running hard on the playground of a nearby elementary school, and Yoon Se Ah explains, “I usually try to run more than 5 km. As I get used to running, my thoughts disappear and I focus on my breathing and the sound of my footsteps.” After that, Yoon Se Ah shows off her surprising friendliness by talking freely with the neighborhood residents and even having a singing battle(?).
Yoon Se Ah is happy and says, “All the walking friends in my neighborhood are friendly. They all seem to be ’E‘ (MBTI extrovert), and I’m ‘extreme E’. Life is really fun. You never know what might happen.” Hwang Jung-eum, who was watching this in the studio, agrees, saying, “The saying, ‘Life is fun’, I‘ve been feeling that way too lately,” and Shin Dong-yup, whose playfulness is aroused, jokes, “Yoon Se-ah said, ’You never know what might happen,‘ but Hwang Jung-eum never knows who she’ll meet~,” burning up the set.
Yoon Se-ah, who finished running, returns home, showers, and starts cleaning. Even though she was already clean, Yoon Se-ah diligently cleans and reveals her thorough sense of hygiene, saying, “I‘m ready to erase even my DNA!” However, Yoon Se-ah, who was cleaning the bathroom, astonishes the studio with an unexpected twist. In particular, Yoon Se-ah is embarrassed by Chae-rim’s intense reaction, saying, “I was wrong.” Everyone is curious to see what Yoon Se-ah‘s unique(?) bathroom cleaning method is that shocked them all.
Meanwhile, Yoon Se-ah, a “rich hobbyist,” visits a taekwondo gym and becomes absorbed in exercising again. Yoon Se-ah, who says, “I recently started learning taekwondo,” is delighted, saying, “When I move my body, my mind becomes clearer.” Hwang Jung-eum, who was watching this, compliments her, saying, “Your expression is almost like a national team representative. You’re so cute.” However, Yoon Se-ah suddenly bursts into tears while practicing taekwondo. The reason why the always bright and energetic Yoon Se-ah suddenly became emotional is revealed in episode 2 of ‘Because I‘m Single’.
Meanwhile, ‘Because I’m Single’ recorded a target viewership rating of 0.5% and a household viewership rating of 1.1% (based on Nielsen Korea‘s combined figures for SBS Plus and E Channel) from the first episode, exceeding ‘1%’, showing the best performance in terms of viewership as well as topicality. This is a score that ranks 3rd in target viewership rating among entertainment programs in the same time slot including terrestrial channels, and is a monumental record that is rare for cable channel viewership ratings. Also, the highest viewership rating per minute was 1.1% for the target audience and 2.4% for households.
The second episode of the SBS Plus·E Channel jointly produced entertainment show ‘Because I’m Solo’ will air on November 5th (Tuesday) at 8:40 PM.
