Character posters containing the personalities of Go Soo, Kwon Yuri, Baek Ji Won, and Lee Hak Joo have been released.
tvN‘s new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Parole Judge Lee Han Shin’ (directed by Yoon Sang Ho, written by Park Chi Hyung) will premiere on the 18th. ‘Parole Judge Lee Han Shin’ depicts the thrilling, ironclad defense of lawyer Lee Han Shin (played by Go Soo), who becomes a ‘parole judge’, the final judge of inmates who stop people with bad conscience.
The character posters released by the production team on the 5th contain the personalities of the four main characters who will lead the drama. The four people with different occupations, including a parole officer, an ace detective at the Gwangsoo Unit, a legend in the loan shark industry, and a second-generation chaebol, are foreshadowing diverse character plays.
According to the production team, first of all, Go Soo, who plays the role of the ‘iron-walled parole officer’ Lee Han-shin, looks sharp as if he is looking at a parole candidate. His firm determination to not let anyone go if they haven’t paid their debts or properly reflected on their sins stands out. The phrase “You shouldn‘t go out into the world already. You haven’t paid your debts yet” added to this makes us anticipate his ‘cider activities’ to stop the bad guys like an iron wall.
Next, Kwon Yu-ri steals the spotlight with her charisma along with the phrase “I‘ll catch you for sure”. Kwon Yu-ri plays the role of ‘Gwangsoo Unit ace detective’ Ahn Seo-yoon in the drama. Kwon Yuri shows off her force that seems like she’ll catch all the bad guys with her intense gaze.
Baek Ji-won shows off Choi Hwa-ran‘s position in the industry and her flaunting personality at a glance with her bling-bling accessories, luxurious fur jacket, and gorgeous makeup. In addition, the phrase, “If you want to make money... you have to put up with the hassle” emphasizes that Choi Hwa-ran is a character who will do anything for “money.” However, how such Choi Hwa-ran joins Lee Han-shin’s plan to implement justice is still shrouded in mystery, raising curiosity.
Lastly, Lee Hak-joo, who plays the role of the ‘arsonist and second-generation chaebol’ Ji Myeong-seop, exudes the creepiness of the drama‘s strongest villain with his scheming poses and cold expression. Ji Myeong-seop’s phrase, “Why are you picking on me without even knowing the topic, picking on me”, encapsulates his life that he has lived fearlessly up until now in one sentence. In addition, the vertical graphic that was only in the background in other character posters is covering Ji Myeong-seop‘s front, giving off a feeling like prison bars. Attention is being paid to whether Lee Han-shin, Ahn Seo-yoon, and Choi Hwa-ran will be able to stop the evil deeds of Jimin-seop, who is halfway out of the bars.
The production team said, “The greatest strength of our drama is that it features diverse and unique characters,” and “Please look forward to the character combinations that Go Soo, Kwon Yu-ri, Baek Ji-won, and Lee Hak-joo have completed, which will completely protect the laughter and fun.”
‘Parole Judge Lee Han-shin’ will first air on Monday, the 18th at 8:50 PM.
