The ‘2024 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS’, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, has confirmed global live streaming.
Hosted by the Korea Entertainment Management Association and the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency, and organized by the Korea Entertainment Management Association and Guardians Company, the ‘2024 Seoulcon Apan Star Awards’ will be live streamed worldwide on December 28. Through this, it plans to spread the ‘K-drama’ fever from Asia to Europe.
The global live streaming being held this time is an online project of the co-hosts, the Korea Entertainment Management Association and Guardians Company. The plan is to complete the drama festival that everyone can enjoy together by conducting live streaming for the numerous global fans who cannot make it to the site.
The global live streaming will be conducted by the entertainer startup BIGC. BIGC has been in charge of live streaming for major domestic broadcasters such as MBC, SBS, and CJ ENM, as well as top domestic entertainment companies. BIGC will exclusively broadcast this awards ceremony live.
The global live streaming will be available in approximately 200 countries including Japan, China, Indonesia, Thailand, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Subtitle services will also be provided for the numerous global fans who enjoy the event online.
With this, the ‘2024 Seoulcon Apan Star Awards’ will be broadcast live on TV through the domestic cable channel tvN and global live streaming through BIGC to broadcast the awards ceremony to the whole world. This will solidify the identity of a global drama awards ceremony that transcends nationality and generations, and is expected to once again elevate the status of the awards ceremony that has continued for 10 years.
The ‘A-Pan Star Awards’ is the only integrated drama awards ceremony in Korea. It is held for all domestic drama content, including terrestrial, general, cable, OTT, and web dramas. This year in particular, as many works that received passionate love from K-drama fans have poured in, curiosity is focused on the actors and works that will be honored with the awards.
Meanwhile, the ‘2024 Seoulcon A-Pan Star Awards’, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, will be held on December 28 at DDP Art Hall 1 in Seoul and will be broadcast live on tvN and Bigk.
