Kim Tae-ri‘s passionate acting in ‘Jeongnyeon’ causes excessive immersion.
tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Jeongnyeon’ is set in the 1950s after the Korean War, and depicts the competition, solidarity, and brilliant growth period surrounding Jeongnyeon, a ‘natural vocal genius’ who challenges to become the best national theater actor.
In the drama, Kim Tae-ri gives an excellent performance as Yoon Jeong-nyeon, who pours all her passion into achieving her dream of becoming a national theater star. She fully conveys Jeongnyeon‘s diverse emotions to the viewers with her realistic passionate acting in each episode, maximizing the immersion.
Kim Tae-ri once again proves her worth as an actress that we can trust and watch with detailed acting, such as reciting her lines in a hoarse voice and singing to express Jeongnyeon who has become a tough opponent. In particular, his emotional acting, which contained complex emotions such as disappointment and sadness during the unexpected moment of separation with Joo-ran (played by Woo Da-bi), repeatedly surprised the viewers.
In the previous 11th episode of ‘Jeongnyeon’, the story of Jeongnyeon, who entered the national theater troupe with a sore throat, was depicted. Jeongnyeon was tested through a street performance in order to re-enter the Maeran National Theater troupe. He started singing unsteadily with a split throat, but soon filled the empty space in his voice with his own gestures, captivating the audience’s hearts with his perfect performance of Simcheong.
The Maeran National Theater Troupe, which is in crisis due to the absence of Ok-kyung (Jung Eun-chae) and Hye-rang (Kim Yoon-hye), plans a new performance to revive its fortunes and decides to select male and female leads for the performance. Expectations are high for the final episode to see if Jeong-nyeon can become the new prince of the national theater troupe.
The final episode of tvN‘s Sat-Sun drama ‘Jeong-nyeon-i’, which features Kim Tae-ri’s shining presence, can be seen on the 17th at 9:20 PM.
