‘Mr. House Husband’ delivered the daily lives of Park Seo-jin and Park Young-gyu.

On the 16th, KBS2‘s ‘Mr. House Husband Season 2’ revealed episodes of Park Seo-jin and Park Young-gyu’s daily lives. The viewership rating for that day‘s broadcast recorded 5.2% nationwide according to Nielsen Korea. The highest viewership rating was 7.0% in the scene where Park Seo-jin explains why he started saving money in a piggy bank.

On that day, Park Seo-jin talked about traveling abroad with Hyo-jung while eating traditional Southeast Asian food. Hyo-jung confessed, “I don’t have a passport,” and “I tried to get one, but I didn‘t really have a reason to go. (Traveling abroad) felt like it was far from me anyway.”

Hyo-jung then suggested to Park Seo-jin that she go on a trip abroad with her family. However, Hyo-jung didn’t have any travel expenses, and mentioned Park Seo-jin‘s piggy bank that he had filled up over the past 5 years. Seo Jin eventually gave in to Hyo Jung’s provocation that it was light and split the piggy bank open, and everyone was surprised by the unexpected amount of money.

Along with this, Park Seo Jin revealed his heartbreaking story about why he saves money in a piggy bank instead of a bank, saying, “When I was young, a red seizure sticker would be put on our house, but my piggy bank was the only one that didn‘t. Park Young-gyu also had a hard time eating spicy tteokbokki with his daughter. However, when his daughter asked, “Are you a spicy person, Dad?”, he showed his affectionate fatherly side by saying, “I can do better than this. It‘s delicious.” Along with this, Park Young-gyu wore the couple t-shirts his daughter gave him as a gift and walked down the street, and he spent a warm time taking 4-cut photos wearing a wig.

After that, Park Young-gyu talked about various things with his daughter. The two recalled their first meeting 5 years ago. Park Young-gyu’s daughter said, “At first, I called Park Young-gyu ‘Uncle’, but since I saw how much my dad and mom liked each other, I just called him ‘Dad’ after the wedding.”

Finally, Park Young-gyu‘s daughter sent a letter she wrote to celebrate her father’s birthday. Park Young-gyu‘s daughter said, “I feel strong and happy now that I’ve met you, dad. I hope you‘re happy. Thank you for being my dad. I love you, dad.” She was moved.
