Still cuts containing the polar opposite charms of Bae In-hyuk, who goes back and forth between the king‘s son and the educational servant, have been released.

Channel A’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Check In Hanyang’ (written by Park Hyun-jin and directed by Myung Hyun-woo) is a coming-of-age romance historical drama that tells the story of Joseon‘s largest inn ‘Yongcheonru’, which has an arrogant motto of ‘The customer is king’, and the young men of Joseon who join the place as educational servants. Bae In-hyuk (as Muyeong-gun Lee Eun/Lee Eun-ho), Kim Ji-eun (as Hong Deok-soo), Jung Gun-joo (as Cheon Jun-hwa), and Park Jae-chan (as Go Soo-ra) star.

Bae In-hyuk plays the king’s son ‘Muyeong-gun Lee Eun’. Prince Muyeong Lee Eun is at the pinnacle of power in a country, but he hides his identity and enters Yongcheonru under the name of ‘Lee Eun-ho’. Attention is being paid to why he entered Yongcheonru while hiding his identity, and whether he, who lived as the son of a king, will be able to adapt well to life as an educational servant at Yongcheonru.

On the 18th, the production team released still cuts containing the polar opposite charms of Prince Muyeong Lee Eun and Lee Eun-ho. The 180-degree difference in atmosphere between when he was in the palace as the son of a king and when he entered Yongcheonru as an educational servant who is no different from the current hotelier is drawing attention.

In the first still cut, Prince Muyeong Lee Eun‘s charisma captures attention. Although he was born with the king’s bloodline, Lee Eun cannot let his guard down in order to survive in the palace where fierce power struggles are always taking place. His expressionless face is full of charisma.

Then, we see him enter Yongcheonru under the name of Lee Eun-ho, hiding his identity as Prince Muyeong. While the other education workers who entered with him are making a fuss about changing their clothes, Lee Eun-ho, standing alone, steals the spotlight. Unlike Lee Eun, who was expressionless, Lee Eun-ho clearly shows the confusion he is experiencing.

The last still cut shows Lee Eun-ho trying to sew while keeping an eye on the mood of those around him. This must be the first time for him, who has lived as the son of a king. His struggle to adapt to Yongcheonru by sewing himself is felt and causes laughter.

The production team evaluated Bae In-hyeok as showing delicate acting that encompasses both the tension of the political battle that Prince Muyeong Lee Eun faces and the comical aspect of Lee Eun-ho’s period of adjusting to Yongcheonru.

The production team said, “Bae In-hyeok is perfectly playing the contrasting characters of Prince Muyeong and schoolboy Lee Eun-ho, increasing the immersion of the drama. His detailed acting, which is revealed even in the still cuts, will be even more intense in the original broadcast. “Please look forward to the colorful fun that the power struggle within the palace of Prince Muyeong and Lee Eun-ho‘s period of adjusting to Yongcheonru have brought.”

‘Check In Hanyang’ is scheduled to premiere at 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, December 21.
